Hospital kit: baby essentials front – convenient for breastfeeding

• Shirts or T-shirts (3 pieces), preferably buttoned at the front – convenient for breastfeeding
• Bathrobe
• 2 bath towels , paper towels, toilet paper and tissues
• 2 nursing bras
• Shower slippers and flip-flops
• Socks
• Disposable/reusable postpartum panties (several pieces)
• Toiletries (hair tie, soap, shampoo, face cream, toothbrush and toothpaste, hairbrush, intimate hygiene gel, anti-inflammatory perineal wash)
• Nursing pads – 2 packs
• Postpartum pads
• Still water
• Protective lipstick
• Disposable razor (recommended for shaving at home, before delivery)
• Mobile phone
• Petty cash
• Cup and cutlery

• Cloth diapers – 2/3 pieces
• Bodysuits – 3-4 pieces, zipped along the entire length
• Rompers – 3-4 pieces, fastened at the front along the entire length
• Hooded towel
• Thin anti-scratch gloves for newborns – 2 pairs
• A thin cotton hat and one warmer one
• Loose-fitting socks – 4 pairs
• A fleece blanket or jumpsuit , or a velvet one – you will need it for the trip home
• Blanket – soft, small, preferably made of fleece or acrylic (wool may cause allergies)
• Disposable diapers – pack
• Baby bottom wipes – 2 packs
• Cosmetics: baby oil, baby soap, baby bottom care and anti-nappy cream (e.g. Bepanthen)
• A brush with soft bristles – stimulates hair follicles
• Saline and sterile gauze pads (for eyewash)
